Istanbul Restaurants: Where The Turks Eat by RL Reeves Jr

You can’t walk twenty feet in Istanbul without being presented with a glorious picture taking opportunity. If you enjoy urban hiking, eating street food and shooting endless photos, then Istanbul has no peer among the world’s cities.

We’re down to the wire on finally getting the book: Istanbul Restaurants: Where The Turks Eat, finished and ready for publication. The 3 year project is undergoing final cover art revisions.

About the photo. Hundreds of mosques dot the skyline of the city. Some are humble, neighborhood structures where busy Muslims dart in for mid-day worship, while others are primarily visited by tourists with cameras blazing away at the incredible art work within.

Planning a trip to Istanbul? You may want to consider the Winter months as that’s when the crowds are a bit thinner, the weather is gorgeous and the hamsi {anchovy} are plentiful in the restaurants and markets.

Visited Istanbul in the past? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Did you get a chance to eat at ¬†leb-i-derya? It’s one of my favorite spots in Istanbul, especially due to their slow food menu.

Istanbul is one of my favorite spots to travel to so I will be excited to read your book! Congrat’s!

I did not but the slow food movement has definitely taken hold in Istanbul. Thanks for checking out the site. I received the final galleys of the book Istanbul Restaurants: Where The Turks Eat last night. Just a few more steps and it will be available. RL Reeves Jr
